Howies Furniture FAQ


If this is your first trip to Howie’s or you are just looking to come back in and say “Hi” we are located at:

We are conveniently located on Dobson Road between Main Street and Broadway Road; close to the I-60, L 101, 202, US 51, I-10. . . if you get lost just give us a call (480)361-9198!

In an effort to make your furniture purchase easy we put together the following FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) with the help of all of our loyal Customers.

  1. How can I order my furniture?

Yes! Our easy to use website is designed to let you order online. You can also call us (480)361-9198 and we will take your order over the phone. We will fax, email or mail a copy of your order to you upon completion.

  1. What if I don’t need my furniture right away?

Howie’s is a 60,000 square foot showroom and warehouse. You can order your furniture today and tell us when you want it! Howie’s can hold you furniture for up to 6 months. (See Pick Up and Delivery Options)

  1. How can I pay for my order?

Payments by mail: 147 South Dobson Road, Mesa, Arizona, 85202

Payments made in person: Cash (US currency), Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express

Checks should be made payable to Howie’s Furniture, all prices are in US Dollars; please note all payments made by mail will have the following clearing period before you can take possession of your purchase:

U.S Cashier’s Check: 0 Days

U.S. Money Order: 0 Days

Personal Checks: 3-10 Business Days

Business Checks: 3-10 Business Days

  1. Does Howie’s offer Financing?

Yes! We use GE Money finance, plans start at 6 months Same As Cash with NO interest, NO fees (minimum purchase amount required). The online application process must be completed in person at our store and typically takes 5-10 minutes to complete and receive your instant response. Please note, GE Money requires a Driver’s License and a major credit card to apply. If financing is Approved the furniture can be taken home immediately. Finance payments are made to GE Money directly (visit for more information).

  1. What if I don’t qualify for Financing, does Howie’s have a Layaway Plan?

Yes! Howie’s in house Layaway plans start at 90 Days with a small non-refundable deposit. Once you make your deposit Howie’s will mark your furniture SOLD and hold it in the warehouse for the duration of your Layaway period. Layaway offers payment flexibility! Payments can be made as you like; the balance is due prior to the expiration of the Layaway period. Once the balance is paid in full the furniture can be taken home.

  1. How soon can I get my furniture?

Once payment has cleared in full you can pick up or arrange delivery of your furniture. (See Pick Up and Delivery Options)

  1. Do I have to schedule my pick up in advance?

No. Once your deposit is made we hold your order in our warehouse. You can pick up your order Monday through Saturday from 10:30 am – 6:30 pm and Sundays 11:30 am – 4:30 pm.

We recommend calling ahead to minimize your wait time (480)361-9198.

  1. What if I want my furniture picked up by someone else?

We must have your signature on file to allow a third party to take possession of your furniture on your behalf. Please fax (480)461-6657 or email (howies……) a signed Authorization to Release Goods prior to your scheduled delivery/third party pick up. The Authorization must include the following information:

  1. Does Howie’s deliver?

While we don’t deliver; we recommend and assist in scheduling a local licensed and insured delivery company. We have negotiated special rates; delivery fee(s) are based on delivery zip code and can be scheduled Monday through Saturday. All delivery fee(s) are COD (Cash On Delivery) paid to the Delivery company directly.

If we didn’t answer your questions, give us a call! We are available to assist you during normal business hours, Monday through Saturday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
